DR PRECIOUS TOE ELECTED PRESIDENT OF LIBERIAN COMMUNITY IN LONDON

Community leader and entrepreneur Dr. Precious Toe emerged the winner at the recent Liberian Community In London (LICO) elections. She was duly elected to represent Liberians in the world’s leading city London.

LICO is the bridge between the Liberian in London, the Liberian Embassy, The UK government, Councils and other communities that have services that will help our community to strive towards achieving our vision of the future.

Dr Precious Toe is a distinguished community leader, Apostle, Gospel minister, and award-winning Gospel singer with extensive expertise spanning law, education, Safeguarding expert, faith-based leadership, and community development. A Law graduate and an accomplished Legal Executive, she has actively contributed to domestic violence advocacy, prevention of youth knife crime prevention empowerment, and welfare initiatives across London and the UK. She works for DHL UK as an Operations Processor and Bond Agent, collaborating with UK Immigration Border Force. As founder of several impactful businesses and organisations, she exemplifies visionary, accountable, and inclusive leadership. Her mission is to unite and strengthen the Liberian community through transparent governance, youth engagement, cultural preservation, and sustainable social and economic development initiatives.

She hopes that through her position as president of LICO, she will bring the Liberian community together in unity, peace and prosperity by welcoming diversity.

Meanwhile, various leaders across diverse communities congratulated her on her new position.

Among her well wishers who sent in heartfelt messages of support was Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Pauline Long, she said, “I cannot find the right words to express my joy for seeing such a dedicated woman of substance take on this huge role to unite Liberians in the Diaspora. I have watched her grow while mobilising her community and effecting change positively and I’m glad to have been part of that journey. I look forward to collaborating with her to bring investment into Liberia”

Dr. Precious Toe has in the past been honoured with multiples awards for her relentless service to communities, for her resilience as a woman who demonstrates the power of transformation, faith, and purpose living from her humble beginnings to becoming an Advocate, an Apostle, worship leader, and support communities both in the Diaspora and Africa through her organisations such as, Restored To Ignite Ministry, Women Worship Music Awards, Rising Star Day Care Baby Bank, Stand Up Stand Out Albinism Foundation Liberia/UK, to name a few.

Asked about how she feels about her win, she lamented, “I’m grateful for the people of Liberia to have placed their trust on me to serve them, my mission and vision is to see development in our community, by skills building, technology, education, children services and connecting to other service providers professionally across all local councils in London.

LICO plans to hold town halls meetings, workshops, conferences and events that will impact and inspire our generation.
