The conference and award ceremony taking place in Malaysia at the exclusive 5 star Sheraton hotel will honour royals, leaders, change makers, humanitarian and entrepreneurs on 1st August will Lady Christine gearing to pick up the International Lifetime Achievement award for her exemplary role in impacting positively diverse communities in UK, Europe and Africa.
A Nurse by profession with vast experience as a specialist intensive care nurse and has held various Nursing Managerial positions in NHS and many private London hospitals UK, she is also a specialist manager in Dementia Adult Social Care Service.
Lady Adamu has coached many individuals to gain Health and social care qualifications enabling people to gain meaningful employments. Through her passion of supporting and caring for older people, working in the community, as a community leader, In 2013 Lady Christina, saw the niche to support BAME living with dementia and founded Dementia Care UK and Nigeria creating avenues and supporting BAME group with the tsunami of this long-term condition” DEMENTIA” and their Carers.
As well as being The President of Nigerian Women in Diaspora Leadership Forum (NWIDLF) and vice President of Forum for African, Afro- Caribbean & Asian Women in Politics, she is a Director of Enfield Health and Social Care Partnership (ESCHP), Tender Care and Enfield Black Heritage Hub.
In 2017 received WAW Honorary Award (Women Appreciating Women) as a visionary woman serving humanity.
